Timepaper was born from a simple belief: stationery can be diverse, responsible, poetic — and sometimes punk. Multiple materials. Singular formats. Influences without borders. Contemporary, free-spirited stationery designed to last.
Origins
Since 2017, Woodhi has brought its wooden products to remarkable stores in France and around the world. A strong material, a distinctive signature. It is part of Timepaper’s DNA and the starting point for inventing new formats, exploring other materials and creating ever more desirable collections.
Our playground
-
Thoughtfully chosen materials
FSC-certified wood and papers, seed paper: each material is chosen for its quality, its purpose and the creative possibilities it opens up.
-
Distinctive formats
Cards, accordion cards, maps, mini cards, bookmarks, notebooks and posters: stationery breaks free from the usual formats.
-
Influences without borders
Artists from around the world, distinctive visual languages, and contemporary collections that are sensitive, expressive and instantly recognizable.
A material is never a limitation
FSC-certified wood becomes a thin, durable and distinctive card that bends without breaking, can be written on and mailed anywhere in the world. FSC-certified paper provides a canvas for contemporary graphic creations. Seed paper can be moistened, planted under a thin layer of soil and watched as it grows into flowers.
Reinventing formats
We like bringing back formats that seemed forgotten, such as leporellos and fold-out maps. Not out of nostalgia, but to rediscover gestures, emotions and a more tactile relationship with the object.
Each format is designed to be unfolded, gifted, displayed or kept. Stationery that doesn’t disappear after use, but becomes a keepsake, a gift or a decorative object.
Created with artists from around the world, responsibly made in France.
Created with artists from around the world, our collections are developed, published and made in France using certified materials and water-based inks. For our wooden cards, we plant a maple tree in the Jura for every 90,000 cards sold — approximately the number of cards one maple tree can produce.
For our seed-paper cards, we have chosen plastic-free packaging and an envelope made from citrus waste and recycled fibres, both biodegradable and recyclable. Packaging is carried out by an ESAT, a French supported-employment organisation promoting professional inclusion.
Our collaborations with cultural and heritage institutions
Timepaper explores the collections of the BnF and the Musée de la Toile de Jouy, giving them new forms. Patterns, archives and heritage are brought into the present through contemporary stationery. Created and made in France, at the crossroads of culture, design and freedom.
